Ahead of CES today, ASUS announced the Mini PC ProArt PA90, a workstation-class PC with powerful internals. It's meant to handle high-resolution video files, 2D and 3D graphic editing, and anything else that demands high performance.
It ships with either an Intel Core i7-9700K or a Core i9-9900K CPU, which are both unlocked for overclocking. For graphics, it can be configured with Nvidia's Quadro 2000 or Quadro 4000 GPUs.
The desktop PC also includes two Thunderbolt 3 ports, both of which support data transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps. For those still using USB Type-A, there are two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports for 10Gbps transfer speeds. There are also four DisplayPort 1.4 ports, so you can plug in as many monitors as you want.
The PA90 comes with a triple storage system that has two 512GB M.2 PCIe SSDs and one 1TB HDD, promising to combine high-speed and high-capacity storage. You can also have it configured with up to 64GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM.
ASUS only said that the PA90 will be available in the coming months, and didn't provide any pricing details.
