For anyone wondering what the AIB custom cooling solutions will be for AMD's Radeon RX 5700 Series of GPUs, there is good news today as ASUS has announced what it will be releasing. The first that will be released is the ROG Strix version for both the RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT, and it is coming on August 16. These cards will use a 2.7-slot open cooler with three of the company's latest Axial-tech fans that use smaller hubs for longer blades. Naturally there will be Aura RGB LED around the three fans and the ROG logo on the full-coverage backplate, but there will also be a button on the back of the PCB to disable the LEDs if you wish. The card also has FanConnect II headers on its front edge, so you can have two case fans set to respond to the GPU's temperature, and a dual BIOS switch. The different BIOSes offer a more aggressive fan profile and one meant more for a quiet experience with an idle fan-stop function.

The following week on August 23, the TUF Gaming X3 cards will be released. These will use three high-performance fans that meet IP5X standards so dust will not get into the bearings. The heatsink is 2.7-slot tall as well and uses DirectCU III technology so the heatpipes will make direct contact with the GPU die. There is a small RGB LED accent on the side of the card for those that want some lighting, but not enough to betray the camo-inspired aesthetics of the card.

Lastly, coming on August 30 will be the Dual Radeon RX 5700 EVO. It uses just two fans to cool the 2.7-slot heatsink and RX 5700 GPU beneath, and with the fan-stop function it will be completely quiet at light loads. It too features a subtle RGB LED accent on its side.

All of these graphics cards will have one HDMI 2.0b port and three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors. The core clock frequencies are not revealed in the press release, and neither are the prices, but with the first releasing in just a couple weeks, it should not be long before we learn what these will be.
