The HP ZR2240w ($289 list) is a 21.5-inch, LED-backlit IPS sporting a 1,920 by 1,080 resolution, eight-way comfort control and a contrast ratio in the millions among other features. The display also packs a USB hub, multiple video inputs, an anti-glare screen and more.

Design and Features
HP designed the ZR2240w using a black, brushed aluminum finish throughout. The display measures 2.3 inches thin, and rests on a wide stand that allows for eight methods of adjustment. Users can pivot, swivel, tilt and adjust the monitor's height in either direction. The ZR2240w comes with one HDMI input, a DisplayPort input with HDCP support, a VGA input, one DVI-D input and an integrated USB hub with four ports.

Popping off the anti-glare screen would reveal hardware that powers this display's 8 millisecond response time, 1,000 to 1 standard contrast ratio and 2 million to 1 dynamic contrast ratio. The screen on the ZR2240w also sports a 178-degree viewing angle both horizontally and vertically.

This monitor has been mission-critical tested by HP, and was built BFR and PVC-free. And in addition to being security lock-ready, the display draws a max of 52W of power. Thanks to features like these, and that the ZR2240w was built using 25 percent recycled resin, the display is Energy Star qualified.
