Smart-e has launched a range of Super 5-Play HDBaseT extenders for the professional market.
The 5-Play feature set delivers uncompressed 4K Video, Audio, Ethernet, bi-directional IR and RS232 together with Power through a single 100m Cat5e/6 cable.
The range includes compact point to point pairs S4K-966 and S4K-967 and compatible wall plate products all with POH inline 48V power.
With HDMI features, the S4K range of extenders supports HDMI, DVI and Display Port Multimode signals. Transparent DDC connectivity provides HDCP V2.2 compatibility whilst a 10.2 Gbps through-put enables Deep Colour, 3D, 4k and 2k and 1080p resolutions.
In-line power is standard allowing the transmitter or receiver unit to be powered through the cable. For cable lengths longer than 100m, multiple units can be daisy chained together to create distance of up to a kilometre. Fully compatible with direct connection to displays and projectors with inbuilt HDBaseT receivers.
The S4K extender series is available direct from Smart-e and its distributor network. To assist with the installation process and technical queries, Smart-e is also providing dedicated product training sessions for installers. All Smart-e equipment comes with a 3-year warranty and unlimited technical support.
