NEC Releases PX750U Projector with Open Pluggable Specification

NEC Display Solutions of America has rolled out a projector for large venues such as retail and corporate environments, higher education, and houses of worship. The PX750U is a 750 lm projector and offers the open pluggable specification to simplify maintenance, use, and installation.

It comes in a WUXGA resolution and supports numerous input cards such as a single board computer and an HD/SD-SDI. The projector has a sophisticated input panel and powered lens controls and its Crestron Roomview technology enable users to connect the projectors directly to the network for controlling and monitoring purposes.

The projector has a contrast ratio of 2100:1 and its stacking correction capability enables a maximum of four projectors to be horizontally or vertically stacked. This enables the projector to increase the brightness of the image to 30,000 lm. The projector has a maximum lamp life of 2500 hours with ECO mode. It has an integrated device technology that allows users to present to high image quality by utilizing the technology’s motion-adaptive de-interlacing technique.

The PX750U projector’s connectivity options include S-Video, three computer inputs, DisplayPort, and HDMI port. It has a Windows network projector function that connects directly to the networked projectors without requiring additional software. The projector features a Windows remote desktop function that enables the projector to be controlled by using a mouse and keyboard through the USB input. The projector also incorporates Windows media connection and network drive functions that exhibit multimedia files. It has an edge blending technology that generates panoramic images with numerous projectors.
