The GTX 590 crams two GTX 580 processors onto a single, albeit massive, 11-inch card, which requires 365 watts to run. The card boasts 1024 CUDA cores, 3GBs of GDDR5 memory, 6 billion transistors, three DVI outputs and a Mini DisplayPort, which can power four displays or three 3D displays.
Though similar to the Radeon HD 6990, NVIDIA says the GTX 590 is "dramatically quieter than competitive products," and uses a special cooling system and dual vapor chambers to keep sound levels at 48dB.
The GTX 590 is available immediately for $699.
